Random Drug Testing

Because Tolton strives to maintain a drug-free school environment, all students are subject to random drug testing, which occurs throughout each school year. Because the consequences for a first positive test are non-disciplinary, we believe that we can positively impact students who may have made unhealthy choices, and guide them to better and healthier decisions going forward. A student who tests positive a second time, however, will normally be dismissed from the school. All transfer students are tested at the first testing date subsequent to their enrollment at Tolton. No students are exempt from the policy.
